Freshman forward Marcus Bates had a career night against Co-Lin on Feb. 7. The product of Paul Bryant High School in Tuscaloosa scored 30 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to help the Warriors to a big 77-72 road win. He hit 11 of his 12 shots from the floor and all 7 free throws. He also had 10 points and 4 rebounds in a 72-70 loss at No. 9 Pearl River on Feb. 4.
