Ten East Central Community College Warriors closed out the 2023 football season with All-MACCC South Division honors for their efforts on the gridiron throughout the season. Chris Tucker ( Dallas, TX), Devontae Causey ( Millry, AL ), Hayden Jackson (Villa Rica, GA), and Ethan Howard ( Breaux Bridge, LA) received first-team awards. At the same time, Kris Robinson (Jackson, MS), Drake Pond (Pass Christian, MS), and Max Walenta (Madison, MS) received second-team recognition. Kyjuan Smith (Palmetto, FL), EJ Fisk Jr. (Tupelo, MS), and Jacoby McQuiller (West Point, MS) received honorable mentions.

Quarterback Chris Tucker threw for 1739 yards passing and 323 yards rushing while adding 20 total touchdowns.

Devontae Causey, a versatile and dynamic running back, accounted for over one thousand yards from scrimmage. He also scored eleven touchdowns for the Warriors.

Wide receiver Hayden Jackson and tight end Ethan Howard were offensive weapons for the Warriors this season, with 460 yards receiving and four touchdowns for Jackson and 439 yards receiving and seven touchdowns for Howard.

Sophomore offensive linemen Drake Pond and Kyjuan Smith were anchors for the Warriors, appearing in sixteen and fifteen career starts, respectively.

Kris Robinson, Max Walenta, EJ Fisk Jr., and Jacoby McQuiller were steady defenders for the Warriors. Each of them played in all nine games.

The Warriors finished the season 4-5 overall under first-year head coach Jonathan Webster.
