East Central Community College tight end Ethan Howard (Breaux Bridge, LA) was named NJCAA All-Region 23.

Howard, a third-year sophomore, shined as a receiving threat for the Warriors this season, placing 11th for receiving touchdowns with seven—the most by any tight end in the NJCAA. A notable performance came against Holmes Community College when he found the endzone twice. Howard also finished the season with the most receiving yards of any tight end in the Divison Junior college football with 439 yards. His season stat totals were 29 receptions, 439 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns.

Howard joins Desmond Williams, Robens Beauplan, TyKeem Doss, Deonte' Daniels, and Dominic Marino as recent ECCC recipients of the honor.
