Jack Chavis, originally from New Hebron, joined the Warrior coaching staff in 2023. 

Chavis, a four-year player at Prentiss Christian, graduated from the high school ranks in 2017 before spending two years as a player at Holmes Community College on the offensive line. 

Chavis originally signed with Kennesaw State after his time in Goodman but attended Mississippi College, where he played two seasons over three years from 2019 to 2021. Upon his graduation with a bachelor's degree in history, Chavis began a master's program at Friends University where he also served as a graduate assistant.

He returned to Mississippi in the fall of 2022 and coached tight ends at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for one season before joining the Warriors.
