The No. 7 East Central Community College golf team performed well at the MACCC Championship. The Warriors carded 300 and 290, earning them conference runner titles and securing a spot in the Gulf District Championship.

It was a stellar performance by the Warriors, with Ashley Head leading the charge and securing a commendable sixth place individually with scores of 77 and 69. Will Thompson, Paul Swanepoel, and Jamie Stace also made their mark, placing 8th, 9th, and 11th respectively. Braxton Cornish came in 42nd with scores of 86 and 79.

The Warriors' stellar play this season has earned Will Thompson of Shucktown, MS, a first-team All-MACCC selection, and Ashley Head of East Grinstead, UK, a second-team All-MACCC honor.

The Gulf District Championship will take place on April 22-24 at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Course in Philadephia, MS.
