Former East Central Community College football player Keonte' Daniels signed a national letter of intent today to play football next season for Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena. He is shown with his mother, Christal Brown of Noxapater. A product of Noxapater High School, Daniels was a two-year starter in the secondary for the ECCC Warriors. He was named to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges First Team All-State Defense and the National Junior College Athletic Association First Team All-Region 23 Defense in both 2017 and 2018. Daniels had 40 total tackles in 2018 and led the team with three interceptions. He had 61 tackles in 2017, which ranked 28th nationally.
