East Central Community College offensive tackle TyKeem Doss and kicking specialist Robens Beauplan added to their postseason honors today by being named to the National Junior College Athletic Association All-Region 23 Football Team.
The 6-5, 332-pound Doss from Aliceville, Ala., was named both Most Valuable Offensive Lineman and Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges First-Team All-Conference South Offense earlier this week after a stellar sophomore season.
Beauplan, a product of Riverdale High School in Lehigh Acres, Fla., was named to the MACJC All-Conference South Offense as both a punter and a kicker. He was twice named MACJC Special Teams Player of the Week during the season and was also an NJCAA Special Teams Player of the Week. For the season, Beauplan was 9 of 14 on field goals, 15 of 18 on extra points, and averaged 45 yards per punt.
East Central finished the 2019 season with a 4-5 overall record and 3-3 in the MACJC South Division.
