Mo Little and the East Central Warriors improve to 9-0

Mo Little had a stellar performance, driving in five runs on three hits to propel the Warriors past #7 Southeastern Iowa CC with an 8-0 victory on Saturday. Little's contributions included a sixth-inning single that scored two runs, an eighth-inning double that scored two more, and a third-inning single that brought home one run.

The Warriors seized the lead in the bottom of the third inning when Kelby Jordan's double plated two runs, followed by Little's single, adding another.

Marbin Lezcano secured the win for East Central, pitching six and two-thirds innings with zero runs allowed on three hits. He tallied seven strikeouts and issued just one walk. Eveland suffered the loss for Southeastern Iowa CC, pitching four and one-third innings and conceding four runs on five hits while striking out three and walking six. Kamryn Carlisle relieved Lezcano, pitching one and one-third scoreless innings for the Warriors, allowing two hits, striking out two, and walking one.

The Warriors' offense remained potent, racking up ten hits. Little and Brady McGee each contributed three hits, while the team exhibited discipline at the plate with eight walks.

Nic Arender, Jordan, and Cyrus Rone led the team with two walks each, while McGee stole two bases. Overall, the EC Warriors stole four bases and displayed solid defense, committing zero errors. Liam Gilbert led defensively with eight plays made.
