Bridges Grand Slam in the bottom of the Eighth Helps stay Undefeated

Trey Bridges drove in four runs on one hit to lead EC Warriors past KCC Cavaliers 4-2 on Wednesday. In the eighth inning, Bridges hit a grand slam to right field.
Luke Cooley struck out ten batters on the day.
The southpaw allowed three hits and two runs over seven and two-thirds innings while walking two.
A ground out by Nolan McCrossin put the Cavaliers on the board at the top of the first.
Kamryn Carlisle earned the win for East Central Warriors. The right-handed pitcher surrendered zero hits and zero runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking none. Zach O'Donnell took the loss for the KCC Cavaliers. The lefty went one-third of an inning, surrendering four runs on four hits, striking out one and walking none. Jackson Smith stepped on the bump first for the Cavaliers. They allowed three hits and zero runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking six.

Jayden Adcox and Barret Rodgers each collected two hits for EC Warriors.
Tomorrow, the Warriors will face off against Kankakee Community College again at 3 PM.
