The Warriors of East Central Community College fell to 1-6-1, 0-3 on Tuesday afternoon as the team lost a tight match with the Holmes Bulldogs, 1-0.
Holmes took the lead late in the first half on a penalty kick after a slide tackle in the box. The Warrior defense and defending MACCC Keeper of the Week Chase Graham (Vicksburg) played very well for the remainder of the contest to limit the Bulldogs' chances at getting another goal.
The Warriors are on the road on Friday, Sept. 24 as the team travels to Raymond to take on the Hinds Eagles. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
