East Central Community College welcomes men's and women's assistant soccer coach Thomas Blake.

Thomas Blake, a Fulton, MS native, brings a wealth of experience to his role as the Assistant Men's and Women's soccer coach at East Central Community College. He recently served as the Head Men and Women's coach at DeSoto Central High School in Southaven, MS, and before that, he was the Head Men and Women's soccer coach at Caledonia High School. His coaching journey also includes stints at Jackson Futbol Club, Tupelo Futbol Club, and Lobos Rush Soccer Club, showcasing his versatility and adaptability in different coaching environments.

As a player, Blake played at Itawamba Community College and completed his last two years of eligibility at Belhaven University, earning NCCAA All-Regional Division 1 Men's soccer team honors as the starting goalkeeper. After graduating, Blake spent one season playing for Mississippi Brilla (USL League 2) before beginning his coaching career.

Blake has a Bachelor's degree in History from Belhaven University (2019) and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University (2024). He is currently working on his USSF D-License.
