
East Central Community College men's soccer team secured a commanding 4-1 conference win over Northwest Community College on September 20, 2024, in Decatur, MS. Forward Michael Lismore was the standout performer, completing a first-half hat trick that set the tone for the victory. Lismore opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a goal assisted by Kai Suchet-Pearson. He doubled the lead at the 40-minute mark with help from Obed Medina and completed his hat trick just three minutes later with an assist from Kevin Resendiz, giving East Central a 3-0 lead going into halftime.
Carlos Penate added a fourth goal in the 62nd minute with an unassisted effort, solidifying the lead. Northwest's Rodrigo Bandeira scored a consolation goal via a penalty kick in the 69th minute, but East Central's defense remained strong to secure the 4-1 win.
