Clinton, MS-East Central Community College competed in the Belhaven University Invitational on October 5, 2024, with strong showings from the men's and women's cross-country teams.

On the men's side, sophomore Gavin Clark led the charge, finishing in 70th place in the 8k race with a time of 30:40.27. Freshman Jaydon Perez also competed, crossing the finish line in 119th place with a time of 43:25.87.

For the women's team, freshman Olivia Rudolph delivered the top performance, finishing 60th in the 6k race with a time of 28:03.99. Her fellow teammates, freshman Shakendria Dixon and sophomore Emaliyah King, finished with 32:28.73 and 38:02.72, securing 92nd and 110th places, respectively.

Both teams showed determination, and Gavin Clark and Olivia Rudolph's top finishes highlighted a promising performance for East Central's future competitions.
