ECCC Baseball and Softball Land Six All-Conference Nods

East Central Community College had three softball and three baseball players tabbed as Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) All-Conference recipients.

Lady Warrior softball players who earned the nod were First Team selections Meadow Villar, Emmi Harkins, and Second Team recipient Janci Aube

Sophomore Villar, of Dallas, Ga., was a leader at the plate for ECCC in 2023. The third baseman earned Second-Team honors as a freshman and continued her strong play into this season. Villar finished the year with a team-best .429 batting average and .850 slugging percentage after knocking 13 doubles, two triples, and 14 home runs through 140 at-bats. Aube posted a .361 batting average through 108 at-bats with 33 RBIs on eight doubles and a team-high four triples. She crossed the plate 31 times in her abbreviated season.
