Lady Warriors Sweep Shelton State

East Central Community College Lady Warriors secured a thrilling 4-2 walk-off victory against Shelton State in front of the home crowd in Decatur. The game reached a tie at two in the bottom of the seventh inning when Sophia Romero's double brought in two runs. Reagan Bryan shined with three hits in four at-bats, including a home run in the fifth inning and doubles in the first and seventh innings.

Shelton State scored in the first inning after #11 singled, bringing in two runs. Bryan's homer in the fifth inning equalized the game at two for East Central Community College Lady Warriors.

Janci Aube claimed the win, pitching a solid seven innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out six and walking five. #15 suffered the loss for Shelton State, giving up four runs (three earned) on six hits over four and one-third innings.

Romero and Bryan both contributed with two RBIs each. Lauren Dunbar was also impressive, with two hits in three at-bats while the team executed a double play.

East Central Community College Lady Warriors dominated Shelton State 12-2 in another impressive performance. Notable plays included Kaitlyn Jones' solo home run, Baylie Romero's double, Sophia Romero's triple, and multiple hits by various players. Sarah Grace Jones won as the right-handed pitcher, allowing two hits and two runs over four innings.

The Lady Warriors showcased its depth, with Phillips leading the offense, gathering three hits in three at-bats. Dunbar and Romero each drove in three runs, while Catherine Stroud and Jones contributed multiple hits.

The Lady Warriors will travel to Gulf Shores, Alabama to compete in the Coyote Classic hosted by Coastal South Alabama Community College this upcoming weekend.
