The Lady Warriors split a home doubleheader with Itawamba Community College. They are now 28-10 on the season.

Itawamba Community College SB opened the scoring in the third inning after an error allowed one run to score. Sydney Phillips homered to center field on a 6-pitch at-bat, tying the game at one for East Central Community College Lady Warriors in the bottom of the third.

In the bottom of the fourth, East Central Community College Lady Warriors took the lead when Janci Aube hit a solo home run to left field, putting the Lady Warriors ahead 2-1.

Emily Collins earned the win for East Central Community College Lady Warriors, pitching a complete game of seven innings, giving up six hits and one unearned run while striking out seven and walking one. A Clifft took the loss for Itawamba Community College SB, pitching six innings, surrendering four runs (two earned) on six hits, with six strikeouts and one walk.

Phillips, batting eighth for East Central Community College Lady Warriors, had a notable performance with two hits in three at-bats. Aube, Romero, Stroud, and Phillips each contributed one RBI for East Central Community College Lady Warriors.

Game Two

It came down to the wire on Saturday in Decatur; Itawamba emerged with a 1-0 victory over East Central Community College Lady Warriors. The score remained tied at zero until the top of the eighth inning, when McClain grounded out, bringing in the winning run.

Both teams showcased strong pitching performances. Itawamba Community College SB's pitchers combined for two strikeouts, while East Central Community College Lady Warriors' pitchers struck out four batters.

J Shaw earned the win for Itawamba Community College SB, pitching a complete game of eight innings, allowing four hits and no runs, with two strikeouts and two walks. Janci Aube took the loss for East Central Community College Lady Warriors, pitching seven innings and giving up one run on three hits, with three strikeouts and two walks.

Anna Grace Shows of East Central Community College Lady Warriors stood out at the plate, leading the team with two hits in three at-bats.

For Itawamba Community College SB, A Beckley, R Tyree, J Smith, S Day-Jones, and ER Thompson each contributed with one hit, while McClain drove in the game's lone run.
