On the Delgado side, notable performances included Jamia Singleton's seven rebounds and four assists, and Kaitlyn Abair's 15 points and seven rebounds.

This victory improved East Central's record to 2-0, while Delgado Community College fell to 2-1. ECCC led in nearly every stat category with advantages in points in the paint, points off turnovers, second-chance points, and bench points, all contributing to their successful performance in this matchup.
