East Central Community College Women's Swim and Dive Team Makes a Splash in First-Ever Meet

Fort Pierce, FL-The East Central Community College women's swim and dive team debuted with an impressive performance at the IRSC Collegiate Invite, showcasing the team's potential on a national stage. Notably, swimmers Ashlee McCall and Gabrielle Baldwin stood out, surpassing the required time standards in their respective events to secure their places at the NJCAA National Meet.

Ashlee McCall delivered a stellar performance in the 200-yard breaststroke, finishing at 2:55.56, solidifying her qualification. McCall's precision and determination exemplify her dedication and the potential of the ECCC swim program.

Gabrielle Baldwin also shined brightly, qualifying in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.17, a personal best, and finishing among the top 25 in a highly competitive field. Baldwin's speed and composure underlined her readiness to compete nationally.

The team's inaugural meet marks a promising start for ECCC's swim and dive program. With national qualifications already under their belts, McCall and Baldwin will lead the charge as the team prepares for the NJCAA Nationals.
